Some things get better with age, and like a fine wine Mary Margaret Humes is just getting finer! The New York native has always been a winning beauty- she is a former Miss Florida and the 3rd runner-up to Miss USA 1975 (she lost to Sale of the Century host Summer Bartholomew). Mary-Margaret advertised herself on a billboard, which caught the eye of Mel Brook who immediately cast her in History of the World: Part 1 (1981). She has a long list of roles on popular 80’s TV series like Knight Rider, The A-Team, Night court and T.J. Hooker, as well as 90’s hits like the cult classic kids conspiracy comedy Eerie Indiana, where she played Marshall’s mom, and 2000’s classics like Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds and CSI:NY. But by far, she’s best known for playing mouth-watering MILF Gail Leery on the TV drama Dawson’s Creek. A year before American Pie (1999) would popularize the acronym, Gail is a newscaster who is banging her coworker, which caused all sorts of drama in Dawson’s house and all sorts of dirty thoughts in teen boy’s heads. While her skin debut was years away, fans were screaming “I don’t want to wait….” until Mary finally made her long overdue nude debut in 2012; baring her Humes blooms as a seductive con artist on HBO’s doomed horse racing drama, Luck. Jackpot! The show got cancelled because three horses got killed in it’s first season, so we couldn’t see her breeding with any more studs. Like a horse with a broken leg, that’s lame. In the later 2000’s Mary-Margaret made the move to Hallmark, showing up in a bunch of their trademark holiday romance flicks. We need her to get naked again on TV. It would be a hallmark moment!
